Hope this works this time for unit 5 project

Explain each of Dacher’s three levels of the subtle mind (witnessing, calm-abiding, unity consciousness) (p.72). How can you utilize these concepts in your personal life?

Answer: For what Dacher’s was saying in “The Witnessing Mind I think what he is saying is that some times we don’t think before we speak and react and this could lead to some issues in later on in life, but by practicing and work hard on thinking rather then speaking and reacting.

With “Calm-Abiding” What Dacher’s is saying here is that we need to learn how to relieve the stress that we have in our selves, By doing so we can do Yoga, pilotes for working on strengthening our mind and body and at the same time relieving stress.

Then finally Dacher’s is explaining about the “Unity Consciousness” which is meaning that by settling into your self as in deep thoughts sitting in a quite area or a place were you can wind down and go into deep thoughts and really listen to your mind and body for what it is telling you, you can have nervousness, stress, or anger that your body is having and by like walking by a river, or ocean, walking in wilderness, whatever it is that makes you go into deep thinking and really listen to yourself then this is a point were you can correct for what is needing to be done.

I can utilize these steps into my life by like my thing is going to the gym as a stress reliever and anger relief. Another thing that I do to incorporate as in thinking before speaking when I am alone I really think a lot and then work on speaking, everyone speak before thinking once or twice in there life possibly more, but that is were the practice come into role from preventing this.

What are the benefits of developing our higher consciousness? How can the biological body benefit? How can the mental self benefit?

When having higher consciousness you become more careful for what you do or how you react in anything that you do or say. It’s like if you are looking to buy a gym system to workout on and a great deal has came up to buy and really people would jump on great deals rather then thinking about what could be wrong or why so cheap for. With having a much higher consciousness you will attend to think more of why is it so cheap, then this leads you into doing some research on that specific piece of equipment before purchasing it. With biological body benefit this would relieve more stress of your body and mind over all with stress it can cause weight gaining which leads to high blood pressure higher glucose levels, cholesterol go up, this could lead to heart disease, but by being much more discipline of how you think the health over all will increase to be better. The mental part of it is better clarity of thinking and reacting to others or for the actions we may have.

 What has research revealed regarding each of the following experiences; Love, Forgiveness, and Gratefulness. Why are these critical components of wellness? How can these concepts, traditionally avoided in western medicine, be integrated in your life?

“Results showed that forgiveness and gratitude were both positively and strongly associated with well-being and largely, though not completely, mediated by affect and belief. Forgiveness and gratitude may have an important place in the positive psychologist’s repertoire of well-being enhancing techniques and exercises in general, and may be particularly powerful with a clinical psychotherapy population.” (Springlink.com, 2005, 2006) This for what I had read on by having forgiveness, gratefulness, and love all three of these are the main medicine of being healthy, if you are not caring to love and you just hate then you will eventually start building up stress then health problems, gratefulness if you don’t appreciate for what you have then  this can become serious as in thinking everyone owes you and this leads up to stress because if someone don’t give you something then you would become upset, and then there is love, love is true medicine because if you can’t love then you can’t lives so the meaning of this would be that if you don’t have compassion then you will have depression and anger which this could and would lead to lactic acid build up with in the body which means ache and pains and have headaches because the body has so much stress from anger and depression, and then this could lead to death as in taking your own life because of feeling alone or just don’t have the conscious for having pride in your self. So love is every thing and the main healer over all.

Healthy strong

Hello, everyone feel free to ask me any questions that you may have in the fitness, dieting and or supplement field. I have been into these things for many years now so I am pretty much known as the expert to a lot of people around my area because of the knowledge that I have and the learning that I have.
